This study presents the production of spatial distribution data acquired and handled by means of remote sensing, having as analysis the hydrographic basin of the Muriaé River, specifically located within the limits of the state of Rio de Janeiro. For this, data from remote LANDSAT satellite sensors, in versions 5, 7 and 8, were used, in which the digital images of the years 1988, 2001, 2010 and 2018 were classified. For this purpose, the supervised classification for the data production, using the Bhattacharrya classifier, which plays its role in conjunction with a photointerpretator, through the free program, developed by the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) was adopted. Four maps of BHRM land use and land cover were produced, with six classes being established: urban area, water bodies, agriculture, management, pasture and secondary forest.Downloads
