Abstract
In current society, initiatives targeted to teacher education aiming at the integration of digital technologies into school programs are vital. Tablets, in particular, present several alternatives for pedagogical use, even though those initiatives are not common with training teachers. Thus, this short course has the purpose of presenting, experimenting, and analyzing four educational applications for tablets. All four programs have graph plotters, but each has specific features that may influence one’s perception of how easy using each app can be. To make experiments with the apps, the graphical approach of linear systems was selected because visualization with digital technologies brings great contributions to the study of that theme, in addition to being this topic very little studied in High School. The short course includes the use of institutional tablets, provided by the Pro-Teaching project, as well as working papers with theoretical principles and activities to be done by participants.
