Abstract
In current society, initiatives in teacher education aiming at the integration of digital technologies into school programs are vital. For this reason, a case study was conducted in the Mathematics Education Course at a federal institution involving the use of apps on tablets in the study of linear systems. This paper aims at discussing the view of training teachers on graph plotters when used in geometric interpretations of 2x2 linear systems. For this purpose, the study first addresses the pedagogical use of tablets. Following, the methodological procedures applied in the case study are described. The article closes with the characterization of the applications, and the discussion of results found in the use of graph plotters in those apps. It was observed that participants of the study found that the use of apps contributed for the pedagogical activity proposed in the study, but that specific features of the programs facilitated use of each plotter.
