Siblings' memories: a writing piece about partneship and reciprocal influence

Abstract

This lecture presents the relationship between the siblings and writers Lúcio Cardoso and Maria Helena Cardoso after the stroke that steals from the author, the possibility of writing and also presents the book Vida-Vida by Maria Helena that includes the present moment of the act of writing a posteriori, consisted of memories, the sequential narrative with ruptures, since the author brings about, her brother's failed pieces of writing. Maria Helena empowers her brother and becomes influenced by the need of discontinuing her own life; she registers their experience and publishes, in such a way, the diary that Lúcio was unable to publish.
