The relationship that we establish with the past, beyond a given to be known, may become a viable past have not lived, a past that could have been and that becomes powerful in that we look at it, listening to the voices the losers who insist on claiming. Thus, the inventive nature of memory is augmented by the literature and, therefore, used as devices to analyze the book "History of the Siege of Lisbon" by José Saramago, because this relationship empowers one to create with the past. Therefore, this work is a conversation between theory and fiction.Downloads
