Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the Spanish Civil War, presenting and analyzing the poem “ La libertarian” composed at the time in question, the journalist and argentine poet Raúl González Tuñón. Such poetry is a reflex of his guerrilla memory, his searching gaze under that barbarous revolution caused by discrepancies of political ideologies. With a sensitive of a porteño, González Tuñón coursed explosives lands and amalgamated experiences that remain in memory, caused an upset in his poetry, making it at that time social and solidarity for those who fought for the republic. With its social poetry, González Tuñón got the recognition of his work in the literary world.
