Sergio Ricardo´s Artistic Memory

Abstract

Singer, songwriter, painter, actor and filmmaker Sergio Ricardo, one of the pioneers of bossa nova and MPB has took part of political struggles and important social manifests to help in the development of the nation. Aiming to rescue, preserve and promote his artistic production the Sergio Ricardo´s Artistic Memory Project is created. In this project, the entire collection goes through the process of cataloging and conservation. The project is a rescue of Sergio Ricardo´s work. His fight for the preservation of national culture has made his music and film production to be obscured by the repression systems and media´s collusion.
