The Geogebra Software for teaching Mathematics

Abstract

A dynamical geometry software is a special tool regarding learning processes that aim at the student’s intellectual actions. The proper use of the software depends mostly on the teacher’s knowledge of geometry. In this paper, we present two possible ideas for working with students in an active didactical situation: geometric construction of artifacts that are plenty of geometry and geometric construction as a resource for the learning of proofs in geometry.
