Abstract

The study of Mathematics allows for the development of logical thinking and encourages the construction of knowledge. This work presents the use of educational games such as Geometry Dominoes and Polygonal Puzzle as resources which allow learners to construct their own knowledge in the study of polygons. Partial results indicate that the use of games in teaching and learning Mathematics helps in the understanding of the content addressed.
