Analysis of vegetable coverage of the urban perimeter of Campo Mourão by vegetation indexes

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze, using the NDVI and SAVI indices, the vegetation of the urban perimeter of Campo Mourão (Brazil) from 3rd July 2016 to 11th September 2018. The methodological procedures were based on the sealing of the orbital images that did not present clouds on the area under study; generate the NDVI, generate the SAVI, make the box plots. It was diagnosed that the SAVI presented more transitions in the phases of evolution of the temporary cultures in the south and north faces. Concerning the vegetation present in the valley bottoms, the NDVI showed more oscillations in the vegetation.
