Many cities face flooding problems due to disorderly urban growth, which results in the reduction of permeable areas and the impermeability of the soil, which contributes to the increase in the speed of surface water runoff. In order to solve such problems, advances have been made in the study of compensatory drainage techniques, among which permeable concrete can be highlighted, which presents itself as an alternative because it is a material that has a high permeability rate and allows for use of waste in its composition, contributing to sustainability. Thus, the objective of this article is, through bibliometric analyzes in the Scopus database, to examine the scientific literature and identify the current state of the art of scientific research on the topic of permeable concrete that uses waste in its composition, in addition to identifying which are the most used tests to evaluate the material properties and which are the most studied residues. The results show that the topic is quite current, with publications covering several countries and in journals of high scientific relevance.Downloads
