This article describes the activities carried out by the project “Time” to Learn in a “Climate” of Teaching (“time” as homonym for the word “weather”) developed in the meteorology laboratory - LAMET/UENF. This project was developed in two aspects: one that involves an association with schools, and the other that prioritizes the dissemination of information related to the atmosphere (weather and climate). The first part involves the installation of a weather station at a partner school or a guided visit of students and teachers to the weather stations at the LAMET renewable energy park. The second aspect concerns the informing teachers, students, and the general public, on news and articles about what is happening in Brazil and the world in relation to the occurrence of significant meteorological events or impacts of weather and climate variations. The use of social media and the distribution of a newsletter will guarantee the achievement of the project objectives. In conclusion, it can be highlighted that the target audience is eager for this type of action and specific information, as long as it is current, of quality, and with accessible language. Therefore, this project tries to ensure that the study of atmospheric sciences, although complex, can be accessible to everyone.Downloads
