Abstract

In this experience report, it will be described a short term course offered between July and September 2020. The initiative was provided by the virtual learning environment, Moodle from Instituto Federal Fluminense. It was free fee course, and destinated to the general public from high school level with more than 300 applications was received including participants of all levels of education. The course programed was made to discuss the main ideas about Modern Physics since the black body problem until matter waves. In special, about Modern Physics, plenty of bad interpretation has been used to explain and relate questions of personal lives or to find esoteric reasons for meaning of people life. In fact, the Modern Physics made a large revolution in the Classical Physics concepts. New interpretations about deterministic about physical quantity as position or velocity in the quantum world are admitted as probability. The philosophical meaning brought new ideas and perspectives. This course intended to explain the first principles of that revolution and brought a bit of context for those changes in the heart of the physics. In this works, it will be reported the course, its programme and some results about participants.
