NEABI IFF Center and the COVID-19 pandemic: experience report

Abstract

In this experience report, we present the Extension activities developed by the Nucleus of Afro- Brazilian and Indigenous Studies of the Fluminense Federal Institute carried out by the students, scholarship holder and volunteer, and by the coordinating professors of the Nucleus from September 2021 With the impossibility of carrying out face-to-face activities, such as the NEABI in Schools project, we developed some virtual actions, such as posts on ethnic-racial and indigenous themes and lives on the themes on the page “NEABI IFF Centro” on Instagram, a study group virtual and mini-course by Google Meet, which were fundamental for the NEABI IFF campus Campos Centro of the Fluminense Federal Institute to continue to fulfill its Extension actions during the pandemic period.
