Abstract
The memorization of mathematical formulas is still a problem in the learning of it. Justifying mathematical formulas is an strategy that can collaborate for a better comprehension and its application in various contexts. In this sense, in the short course four ways to justify the spherical surface formulas for High School students will be presented. For that, concrete materials and pictures to aid understanding will be used.
