Abstract
Present in many Higher Education courses, the disciplines of Differential and Integral Calculus normally represent a great challenge for the students. The difficulties of the students, in many cases, are related to the lack of necessary requirements. In this context, this article aims to present a proposal of a Pre-calculus course, developed by undergraduate students in Mathematics under the guidance of teachers of Calculus. The referred course is being structured in the virtual environment of Moodle and contemplates mathematical topics of Elementary and Secondary Education. Given the described objective, this article discusses, initially, the issue of the difficulties in the disciplines of Calculus. Following, the methodological procedures are described and the handouts already prepared and the materials selected for each topic (videos, learning objects, additional handouts) are briefly presented. The aim is to provide materials in different media, in order to contemplate different learning styles.
