Complex Numbers: an approach with the help of digital resources

Abstract
The study of Complex Numbers at High School level usually follows an algebraic line, with little emphasis on the geometric approach. Aiming at collaborating to this issue, we have developed the Online Learning Unit “Investigating in C”. This unit contains, among other resources, 15 applets which allow for the study of Complex Numbers associated with Analytical Geometry. The objective of this mini-course is to propose an approach to the study of Complex Numbers in High School Math using digital resources with greater emphasis on Geometry. To reach this objective, participants will be presented to the Unit of Learning, and do investigative activities associated with the applets.
