Microbiological and physico-chemical evaluation of water for human consumption in Itaperuna/RJ

Abstract

According to Ordinance nº 2914 of the Ministry of Health the water for human consumption should meet the specific standards of quality. Was performed microbiological and physico-chemical analysis of water samples offered to the population from Itaperuna/RJ. Results were observed from the parameters established in Ordinance. It was identified non-compliance of some samples with respect to levels of chlorine, but also no incidence of total or fecal coliform.
