Considerações acerca da geração hidroelétrica Fluminense a partir da crise hídrica do estado de São Paulo

Abstract

This text makes some considerations on the situation of hydroelectric generation in the state of Rio de Janeiro from the water crisis in the state of São Paulo. The proposed methodology consists of an exploratory survey of data on energy matrix Fluminense to verify its characteristic analysis also demonstrates a newsletter monitoring of reservoirs of hydraulic system of the Paraíba do Sul River and the daily monitoring of the hydropower operation of the national grid . The work showed that there is a direct dependence of the volume of water stored in the three major hydroelectric plants in the state of Rio de Janeiro with the Paraiba do Sul and its tributaries in the State of São Paulo river and that any natural or anthropogenic action that may drastically reduce the flow of this river will negatively impact the storage of water for the hydroelectric plant installed on Fluminense Paraíba do Sul River.
