Monitoring of physical-chemical parameters on microbiological Pond Acu, RJ

Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the chemical-physical and microbiological elements of pond water, which is in an area of Integral protection. The methodological procedures were used: literature review on the subject; fieldwork for general recognition of the area and water harvesting; Chemical and physical analysis of water in the laboratory. Campaigns collections occurred in the months of January and July 2014, physico-chemical and microbiological analyzes of water from the pond Açu, in order to determine its quality being performed. To this end, ten sampling points were randomly chosen. In laboratory tests found up changes of chemical and physical elements of water, may infer that for this standard framework class 1 according to CONAMA resolution 357de 2005, this pond is with moderate rate of contamination. The Pond Acu environment studied, is an environmental protection area where we found a rich sandbank area, near an area of urban sprawl. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the quality of local water, so necessary and appropriate for the resolution of possible environmental damage caused, if need be, taken.
