Abstract

The lato sensu postgraduate course in Environmental Education at the Fluminense Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IF Fluminense) completes in 2019 fifteen years of creation. During this period IF Fluminense has been integrating the actions in the theme in the three premises defined for the Federal University by the Federal Constitution of 1988: teaching, research and extension. In order to contribute to the environmental education produced in this lato sensu cut, three products are presented by the approaches: “Actions”, “Registration” and “Perspectives”. In this sense, the events Fluminense Environmental Education Seminar (SEA Fluminense) and II Environmental Education Exhibition of IF Fluminense Campus Campos Centro (July 8-11, 2019) were respectively developed; the production of the book “A lato sensu environmental education at the Fluminense Federal Institute: fifteen years of academic production - Articles Series - Volume 1”; and the “Fluminense Environmental Education Charter - 2019”, final document of SEA Fluminense. Considering the various commemorative marks by IF Fluminense in 2019, celebrating and proposing on environmental education strengthens the institute's relationship with society by building a better social and environmental condition of life.
