Development of experiments for teaching classical mechanical

The present work is a proposal for the construction of physics experiments to be used as a teaching tool in the technical course in mechanics at the Unit of Cordeiro of the Federal Fluminense Institute (IFF), which belongs to campus Santo Antônio de Pádua. The objective is to demonstrate that practical activities are of fundamental importance in the teaching-learning process, making the student learn, understand and strengthen all knowledge acquired. The work was divided into stages, which included: choice of experiments, construction, application in the classroom and extension actions. In making the experiments, low-cost materials were used and reused, ensuring the sustainable aspect of the project. The target audience of the work were students from the state and municipal public schools in Cordeiro who visited IFF Cordeiro in the 1st Integration Week, in June 2019, in addition to education professionals who participated in activities such as workshops and roundtable discussion to publicize the project. During the experiments developed, the students showed excitement and interest, both observed through the dynamism of the presentation and interaction between the students.Downloads
