Abstract

This article aims to explain the use of outdoor classes as a pedagogical tool for teaching geography, considering the different perceptions that this allows for a discussion about the complex concept of environment and the relationship between man and nature with students from 5th grade, belonging to the state network of Rio de Janeiro, based on the experiences provided by the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships, provided by the Federal Fluminense Institute.
