Abstract

The concept “places of memory”, coined by Pierre Nora, is a classic reference for institutions that are committed to preserving and sharing archival sources. Written as an experience report, this article aims to discuss the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-2021 on Campus Bom Jesus do Itabapoana’s Memory Center, understood as a place of memory at Instituto Federal Fluminense. By uncovering the challenges imposed by this historical conjuncture, it is intended to verify the adaptations and actions developed by the project during the mentioned period. In such a unique moment in recent history, the purpose is, also, to create a memory for the next generations of the project.
