O ensino de vocabulário em uma escola pública de ensino médio

This study summarizes what has been researched and proposed about vocabulary learning of English Language. It shows how the studies improved in a dialectical way from an external emphasis to an internal emphasis. First, some basic ideas are pointed out, these ideas have said the study of the lexicon. Also, we point out the opposition between the concept of word and the lexical unit and we try to show, within this opposition, the tension between the word and the text. The study was carried out based in a test proposed by Paul Nation with the objective of proving the level of knowledge of the tested students.Downloads
