Abstract

Activities of research related to Information and CommunicationTechnologies (ICT) can be good pedagogical resources for the process of teaching and learning Mathematics. In this mini-course, will be addressed the geometric demonstration of the law of cosines, through activities involving the use of animation available in sites. The activities are structured in three sections: right-angle triangle, acute-angle triangle and obtuse-angle triangle. An interdisciplinary approach about the topic, exposing the law of cosines application in Physics will also be done. Moreover, to bring the mini course to an end, problems regarding the application of the topic addressed will be proposed.
