Math induction as demonstration method

Abstract

The induction principle is an efficient instrument for demonstratingthe natural number facts. This may be seen as a learning instrument of the theory of numbers in a teacher’s formation course. Induction is an important instrument that can be used as demonstration method of Math hypothesis. This course discusses Math induction as demonstration method and presents activities that suggest a methodology for understanding Math Induction and its application.First, Math induction is presented as demonstration method, then,activities are developed to promote the teaching and learning of the proof for induction and, to conclude, the analyses and considerations based on the observations made during accomplishment of these ones.
