Studies waste of Campus South River Paraíba / UPEA aiming its management

Abstract

Concern for the environment is increasingly present in the discussions and in everyday society. Most of the environmental problems is generated by the negative impacts caused by waste generation and disposal inadequate contaminating soil, air and water. In the present scenario, society is increasingly worrying about the environmental issue, the poles of research have an important part in the production of waste due to their routine activities. Thus, because of the important role that research plays in our society, and opposite the environmental importance that waste may present the hour of such poles implement waste management programs. Given the above, this paper makes a diagnosis about the sources of waste generated and propose suggestions how to treat and properly dispose of it residues for future implementation of an environmental education program in the management of waste generated in UPEA / IFF.
