Principles for creation of an interpretive nature trail, with regional social and cultural elements, in a fragment of sandbank in São Francisco de Itabapoana

Abstract

This study aimed to provide theoretical foundations for creation of an interpretative nature trail in an area under the administration of the Colégio João Paulo II. The study site is located in the municipality of São Francisco de Itabapoana in a fragment of sandbank, where there is great interest of preservation. Historical, social and cultural elements of the site have been suggested to generate attractiveness and knowledge. Orientation to restore native flora to promote environmental education.
