Abstract

Literature is a pleasant and rich way to study and think about human nature. Administration, as an applied social science, is able to draw parallels from the abstraction of concepts about the understanding of human nature and its relations. The Projeto Corpus Literário (PCL) is a semiannual reading project for complementary books. There is a group of teachers that develops an agenda for meetings and discussions in conversation circles, seminars and lectures, encouraging the active participation of students. The character of the discussions around the work is literary and interdisciplinary. Themes such as leadership, strategy, conflicts, power, work process, ethical issues, among others, are present in society and in business dynamics and can be represented in the literature and generate reflections for the teaching of administration, offering an apprehension of social phenomena. Through the PCL, the University builds a favorable space for the critical, creative and reflective development of students by developing soft skills in administration, contributing to the consolidation of a more humanistic understanding of reality and thinking about interdisciplinarity and teaching, research and extension relations of the institution.
