Abstract

Environmental education is important for the citizen’s formation of the individual and can be incorporated transversally to the curricular content of basic education. In view of the presente demand, we developed a multidisciplinary didactic sequence based on the method of bibliographic review, based on intervention research that uses geography, history, heritage education, playfulness and technology to address the local urban problem of pollution of the Paraíba do Sul River in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes (Brazil). We aim to stimulate student engagement for the preservation and conservation of the environment, specifically drinking water, through the contente of hydrography, the legend of Ururau da Lapa, field trips and making comics (HQs) using the Canva tool to build interactive learning, in order to mediate the student’s critical thinking, so that the student is not just a receiver, but a producer and multiplier of knowledge.
