This article aims to summarize and comment on the 1996 debate between Jürgen Habermas and Richard Rorty. The paper discusses the possibility of having knowledge and democratic politics by rejecting the universal validity concept. Is it possible to make judgments (of truth or moral) from a “relativist” perspective of knowledge?Downloads
