This paper aims to relate literature and journalism in the context of modern life, focusing on the journalist and the writer as their agents, immersed in the city as a new area of relationships that create opportunities for the emergence and maturation of new genres, such as the chronic. The city, within this context, is the ideal space of enunciation both for literature and press, working together for the emergence of what Bourdieu and Maingueneau call literary field and literary institution.Downloads
