This paper proposes a pragmatic study of language, based on the observation and analysis of the linguistic meaning as a production of social interaction, bringing to the discussion topics concerning philosophy of language, translation, linguistics, pragmatics, structuralism, utterance, the ESP approach and genres, with the purpose of contributing to the process of language learning as a whole.Downloads
