Iluminação como uma infraestrutura de cuidado

Resumo

Esta revisão integrativa de literatura aborda a relevância da iluminação. Através do conceito de infraestruturas de cuidado, propõe três categorias de análise: (a) “iluminação, cultura e a vida em sociedade” reúne estudos sobre aspectos culturais e sociais que envolvem a iluminação; (b) “acesso à iluminação, tecnologia e sustentabilidade” mostra como o próprio acesso à luz e às tecnologias precisam ser discutidas vistas desigualdades estruturais, escassez de recursos e sustentabilidade; (c) “a iluminação no cuidado à saúde” explora sua influência na ambiência e percepção de usuários de ambientes de cuidado. Esses temas se interseccionam e necessitam de uma abordagem transdisciplinar. As análises indicam que projetos e sistemas de iluminação podem contribuir para sensações de acolhimento, bem-estar e pertencimento, e ainda preservar uma boa visualização para serviços e procedimentos, além de controle de ofuscamento e refletância. Recomenda-se ampliar pesquisas exploratórias em ambientes sociais e comunitários, com estudos de caso e implementação de protótipos. Existe espaço para pesquisas adicionais que considerem a iluminação como uma infraestrutura de cuidado, com foco no acesso e experiência positiva dos usuários e cidadãos.
