The text approaches the scientific production of works stricto sensu in Brazil in the field of Education, in the period 2013-2018, on the theme of Quotas in Education, available in the theses and dissertations bank of CAPES. We sought to know the discussions of researchers and the results of their investigations, as well as to know what other questions were raised about Brazilian public education. The methodology used was based on bibliographic research (GIL, 2002), bibliometric (TAKAHASHI, 2013) and content analysis (BARDIN, 2011). It was observed common paths in the research debate on quota policy. Finally, the study points out the limits of quotas as social justice measures, when applied in isolation.Downloads
