Um Novo Método para Caracterização de Propriedades Mecânicas em Materiais Cerâmicos

.Abstract
As dificuldades de propriedades mecânicas em materiais cerâmicos, seja pela fragilidade intrínseca do material, seja pelo desalinhamento de barras de tração nos métodos tradicionais utilizados para metais, levou à proposição de um novo método de trabalho. O método proposto não se utiliza de contatos mecânicos para a aplicação de carregamento, porém de radiação de uma emissão laser. Aqui é apresentado um caso estudado onde o método determina, com sucesso, a Tenacidade, a Fratura de um corpo de prova em forma de disco feito de nitreto e silício.Downloads
