Risk of exposition, Contaminated groundAbstract
This work resulted from a research conducted in 2006 by the City of Vitória, ES, to accomplish norms set by the Ministry of Health, aiming at the identification of populations under risk of exposure to contaminated ground. The selected area was the Garbage Plant of the City of Vitória, as it is located at minimum distances from impoverished residences. The methodology considers the insertion of specific parameters for social conditions, information about the environment and the distances between the population and the possible source of contamination. Its application classified the studied area as “yellow area” indicating population potentially exposed to ground under suspicion of contamination.Downloads
