Abstract

This work aims at describing the festival that takes place every last Sunday of July in the city of Varre-Sai, Rio de Janeiro. This research conducted an ethnography work, carried out in two phases: one consisting of a series of interviews with local wine cellar owners and officials from the Department of Tourism and Culture of Varre-Sai; the other consisting of observations and descriptions of the festival days.
