Intelligent system for treatment of events in substations of electric power distribution

This article presents the development and the construction of an intelligent system for the processing of events within a substation. This system is based on artificial neural network and expert systems, in which the output will represent the response to each pattern of events sent by the control system and acquisition of data, after the occurrence of a disturbance in the substation. This response will help the operator in the identification of any defective component after the disturbance which may be analyzed as a problem in pattern recognition. The study also describes the development of the prototype, in addition to tests performed to validate the proposed methodology.Downloads
