Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) – is an identification system that uses electromagnetic waves induction. This technology is useful and promissing, and when compared to bar codes it is more agile and flexible. Nowadays it can be noticed that this system has been applied in many situations, such as: vehicle and personal access control, manufacturing processes control, animal tracking, inventory control etc. Market research has shown a substantial growing on RFID use given its cost reduction, making the number of applications rise.Downloads
