Novice teachers' narratives: an analysis of the identity formation

Abstract

This work refers to an analysis about the identity formation process of three children’s education novice teachers interpreted by the memorial narratives of their formation. The study was developed based on the following questions: Can the trajectory narratives at the beginning of the career help to identify how the personal and professional dimensions develop the identity formation? How does the identity formation process occur at the beginning of the career? The written narratives of these teaching professionals demonstrated the professional and personal dimensions of their identity constitutions in the induction process to the teacher career.
