The objective of the study is to characterize the reality experienced in the private teaching sector, aiming to understand the main challenges of the teaching work in this space. For this, semi-structured interviews were conducted with two teachers who work in kindergarten institutions at Naviraí (Brazil). The methodology is concentrated in the field of qualitative research of descriptive-analytical character and the data were analyzed with theoretical bases of the specialized literature in the perspective of raising characteristics and problems experienced in the private context. The results show that the pedagogical practice occurs differently, the daily confrontations differ from each other, and that the teacher seems to have less autonomy in the performance of his/her work when compared to the difficulties of beginning teachers who are inserted in the public-school system.Downloads
