Grid-connected photovoltaic power systems appear as a technological option to meet the growing demand for energy. The article discusses the economic and technical barriers and the potential for deployment of these systems in Brazil from the rules of ANEEL Resolution No. 482/2012. The work consists of a survey for the description and identification of the opportunities and benefits as well as the difficulties and barriers in the dissemination of this type of generation system. Thus, for the diffusion of the generation, there must be mutual effort between segments that permeate the generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization of energy.Downloads
