This article sought from critical theoretical references, to establish interlocutions with the educational thinking of several authors that problematize and, in this way, contribute to the understanding of the school, the curriculum, the educational practices institutionally established and the society and its forms of structuring and functioning. It is imperative, in the context we live, we reflect on prejudice and intolerance in the school environment, which must be understood in its historical, social, political and cultural determinants. Finally, we see the need to place the school in a different direction, which is not a promoter of hyperindividualism and competition, but of cooperation, dialogue and respect.Downloads
