The Quilombola social movement: considerations on its origin and path

The Quilombolas brought new perspectives to the rural setting. These communities have sought recognition of their rights based on Article 68 of the Temporary Constitutional Provisions Act of the 1988 Federal Constitution. In this paper, we present the main issues that revolve around the emergence of these individuals, from the point of view of their activities as a social movement.Downloads
