Play-Based strategies in Early Childhood Education for the promotion of healthy habits: a collaborative approach involving school personnel and parents/guardians

This study analyzes the promotion of healthy habits in early childhood through collaborative playful interventions between family and school, based on the School Health Program (PSE) and the National Policy of Popular Education in Health (PNEPS). It is a qualitative action-research grounded in Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD), involving 143 children, 74 caregivers, and 15 educators in municipal daycare centers. The investigation was structured in four stages: diagnosis of priority themes (pediculosis, flu, and hygiene); dialogical planning; implementation of playful actions (puppet theater, games, and lectures); and qualitative evaluation. The results, organized into analytical categories, reveal that playful approaches and dialogue facilitate the appropriation of health knowledge and strengthen community protagonism in child care.Downloads
