Vértices volume 27 número 2 2025 e-issn 1809-2667

The dossier "Sociedade-Natureza, Economia, Política e Cultura no Noroeste Fluminense e regiões circunvizinhas" was conceived and organized to contribute to research ABOUT and FROM Northwest Fluminense, addressing diverse themes, approaches, questions, and methods for conducting research. The grouping of the ten articles and one interview that make up the dossier indicates four main thematic axes: 1- historical and cultural processes; 2- economy, society, and nature; 3- politics and contradictions of socio-spatial development; 4- implementation of public policies.
