Vértices launches its second issue of 2021, with the publication of twelve articles of different themes, with authors from several Brazilian institutions that provide us with their research, contributing with science and its publication. Thus, we are extremely pleased to present the first four articles in the area of ​​Education, the first two of which are Review articles: Emancipatory education: an approach between the concepts of Paulo Freire and István Mészáros; The conceptions of creativity in the National Common Curricular Base of Portuguese Language; School dropout and the indicators of the Federal Professional Education System in Brazil between 2003 and 2015; Characterization of Biology questions in the Rio de Janeiro State and the National High School Entrance Exam.
